How can I buy an item from Bakebuddy?
Bake Buddy exclusively accepts orders through its website, bakebuddy.in. We do not process orders over the phone or via email, and we do not operate any physical retail stores. Will my gift look exactly as it is seen on the website?
For flowers and cakes, the images on our website are representative. The actual product design may vary, especially in smaller towns with limited production resources. All other products are delivered as displayed on the website. Due to the unique and designer nature of our catalog, quantities are limited. If a product you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative.
Do you gift wrap or provide packaging options?
Currently, we do not offer a gift wrapping service. However, we do provide the option to add a gift box for a small fee, available in the shopping cart. With over 200 designs of gift boxes in various sizes and styles, you can be assured of a delightful unboxing experience for the recipient.
Do you deliver all products everywhere?
We deliver to most places in India. However, we do not deliver to extremely remote locations. Delivery feasibility and times vary depending on the product and location. You can check the deliverability and estimated delivery time for your pin code or country on the product page or during checkout.
What date should I select when ordering for midnight delivery?
Orders for midnight and fixed-time deliveries must be placed at least 24 hours in advance. For a midnight surprise, we've added the time slot of 11 PM-11:59 PM, so select the same day as the delivery date and choose the midnight delivery option. For example, if the Birthday is on the 24th and you wish to deliver the surprise on the 23rd night, then select 23rd as the date of order.
Can I order from Bake Buddy without creating an account (Guest Checkout)?
Guest checkout is not available on Bake Buddy. Creating an account is mandatory to prevent identity theft and misuse of personal information for sending gifts. This measure is especially important when gifts are sent to third parties, high-profile individuals, or recipients of the opposite sex, to avoid misunderstandings or harassment allegations. An account also allows for better service customization, including storing multiple delivery addresses, using gift vouchers, accessing customer-specific discounts, setting delivery preferences, and efficiently managing order history and repeat purchases.
How do I use gift vouchers and/or discount codes?
You can apply your gift voucher or discount code in the 'Order Summary' section during the checkout process. The option to enter the code is located at the bottom left of this section. Note that you cannot use both a coupon code and a gift voucher simultaneously; only one can be applied per order.
What details do I need to provide while ordering a gift?
Providing the recipient's address and phone number is essential for order placement to ensure smooth delivery coordination. We recommend also providing the recipient's email address for contact if they are unavailable by phone. Additionally, you are required to sign up on our website with your valid email id and phone number, and we advise keeping this information updated for seamless communication.
Cancellation
Can I cancel my order?
Orders containing personalized or perishable items, such as flowers and cakes, cannot be canceled once they have been processed. However, you can cancel orders with standard products as long as they haven't been dispatched yet. We typically process orders within a few hours and dispatch them the same day. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately.

How long does it take to process my cancellation?
Although the cancellation of an order is processed immediately, it may take 4-5 working days for the refunded amount to be reflected in your bank account.
Can I ask for a partial cancellation of my order?
We do not accept partial cancellations of orders. If your order has not been dispatched, you have the option to cancel it entirely and place a new order. However, if your order has already been dispatched, it cannot be canceled.

Order tracking and Delivery
What delivery options do you provide?
We offer a variety of delivery options based on the location and the type of gift. For flowers and cakes, we provide same-day delivery (for orders placed before 6pm), fixed-time delivery (1-hour slot, must be ordered 24 hours in advance), and midnight delivery (also requires 24-hour advance ordering). For other gift items, you can select an approximate delivery date, and we will aim to deliver around that time. For regular pin codes, our products are shipped through top courier partners like DHL, Blue Dart, FedEx, etc., and typically arrive within 2-5 business days.
How long does it take to deliver gifts?
You can find specific delivery times on each product page before placing your order. Generally, for regular pin codes, delivery in India takes 2-5 business days. Deliveries to remote pin codes may take longer, up to 10-12 business days
Do you charge for shipping?
We offer free standard shipping for most products within India. International deliveries and special delivery options in India (like midnight delivery) incur a shipping fee. Shipping charges and delivery times for all items can be checked on their respective product pages
Do I have to pay any other charges over & above my order value?
Certainly, additional charges may apply for deliveries to locations situated at a significant distance from urban centers. These charges will vary based on the specific distance and location of your desired delivery address
Will my gift be delivered exactly on the date that I have chosen for delivery?
Exact date delivery is only available for flowers and cakes, which we deliver within 24 hours locally. You can choose a specific date and time for delivery for an additional charge. For other couriered gift items, the selected delivery date is tentative. We aim to deliver close to your chosen date, but exact date delivery is not guaranteed.
How do I track my order?
As of now, we do not have a tracking feature for orders containing Flowers & Cakes, but we are in the process of developing this service. We will provide updates as they become available. What do I do if my order shows as delivered but the recipient has not received the gift?
If you cannot locate your delivered item, it might have been received by someone else at your location, like a concierge, receptionist, or security guard. Please check with them first. If you still can't find it, contact our customer care at +91 8329976477 for assistance.
Refunds
Can I replace an item?
No replacements are permitted since the products are of a perishable nature.
If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, missing, or of poor quality, you may request a replacement. This will be processed within 24 hours.*
Can I return an item?
For "Hand Delivered Products (flowers & cakes):
Returns are not accepted for these products as they are perishable. However, if you encounter issues such as damaged, incorrect, missing, or poor-quality products, please contact us at +91 8329976477 or email us at support@bakebuddy.in. We will offer an appropriate solution by either replacing the product or compensating for the error through a refund or by issuing a Bake Buddy gift voucher. The voucher can be used on bakebuddy.in for up to 12 months. We will process the refund or issue the gift voucher within 24 hours.
Bakebuddy.in is not responsible for compensation in any form for any "Hand delivered" order in the following situations:
If the complaint is raised more than 48 hours after the delivery time.
If the products are delivered to an incorrect address provided by the sender.
If delivery is unsuccessful due to the recipient being unavailable or uncontactable at the provided address at the time of delivery.
If the recipient refuses to accept the product.
In these scenarios, the order will be considered as attempted, and requests for reattempt or refund/cancellations will not be accepted.
For any complaints, we require an image of the delivered product to be sent to us for investigation.
Can you arrange return pick up?
For "Hand Delivered Products (flowers & cakes):
Return pick-ups are not available due to the perishable nature of these products.
How will I be informed about the refund or gift voucher, and how long would it take for a refund to be reflected in my account?
Once we have processed your refund or issued a Gift Voucher, we will notify you via email. Following this, the refunded amount will appear in your account according to the usual timelines for interbank transactions.
Payments
Do you provide a Cash on Delivery (COD) option?
We do not offer a Cash on Delivery option because typically, the person purchasing the gift is different from the one receiving it.
What kind of payment methods does Bake Buddy accept?
Bake Buddy offers a diverse range of payment methods, including:
Credit Cards: We accept all types of credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express, including both domestic and international cards.
Debit Cards: All debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro, are accepted, covering both domestic and international cards.
Internet Banking: We provide net banking options for all domestic bank accounts. However, this facility is not available for international accounts.
Wallets: We support payments through major wallets like PayTM, SBI Buddy, and Mobikwik, and are constantly adding more options.

We offer the net-banking payment option exclusively for domestic accounts within India.
Can I apply the discount code after paying?
Discount codes or gift vouchers must be applied during the checkout process in the ‘Order Summary’ section. Once the payment is completed, these codes cannot be applied to that order.
What do I do if my payment is deducted but my order is not placed?
If you don’t receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours after making a payment, please contact our customer care at +91 8329976477 for assistance. We will either issue a refund or process your order as per your preference. If you're unable to call, you can email us at support@bakebuddy.in.
Are my transactions & banking details secure on Bake Buddy?
Our entire website is secured with SSL encryption. The presence of ‘https’ in the green bar of your browser's address bar, as opposed to ‘http’, signifies a secure connection. All data and transaction details are secured through the SSL protocol for high-level security. We advise against sharing your Bake Buddy account or card details with anyone.
